Event of Note – Photo History XIV, 2009

 

This is the premier Antique Photographic event in the country.  It has been held every three years at the George Eastman House in Rochester, NY.  The only exception to this schedule is that there was so much interest in Symposium XIV that Symposium XV was held in 2011 only two years after number XIV.  Symposium XVI was held in 2014 back on the every three year schedule.  At this time there is no definitive information on Symposium XVII which would be held in 2017.  We will keep you posted on this site for information on the upcoming event should it be held.

 

The Symposium XIV weekend consisted of Presentations, a Banquet with Presentation, Displays, tours of George Eastman House and the Photo Museum and a trade show.

Join us to meet historians, collectors, photo experts, and dealers

from around the world, Tour George Eastman House (GEH) and the International Museum of Photography & Film.

 

This symposium, held every 3 years since 1970, is organized by The
Photographic Historical Society, the oldest such organization in the
world, founded in 1966.
